This large bobbin over-wound P90 style pickup features an all wood bobbin construction with  a shielded Bubinga baseplate, dual Alnico magnets, and traditional shielded push-back hookup wire. Wax potted for noiseless operation. A2 or A5 magnet options available. NOTE: These pickups measure a full 3.5 in x 1.5 in. Customization may be required to install in your guitar. This high output Strat Staggered Single coil was inspired by Erik Trammell (All Souls, Black Elk, Brothers Collateral). He was looking for a special set of "David Gilmour-ish" sounding single coils. I accepted the challenge and here is the result. This pickup includes all the same features and upgrades as our CSS-271/571 but with even more midrange punch and sustain! Intended to be used in the bridge position in conjunction with a CSS-571 (neck) and a CSS-571/RWRP (Middle) to complete the ET-5 Custom set. Alnico 5 magnets standard. Shielded push-back hookup wire. "Born" in 1955, the PAF Humbucker has acquired holy grail status among guitarists of all types! In 1959 Gibson manufactured some with mixed black and white bobbins which came to be known as a "zebra" pickup. This pickup is inspired by that legendary PAF design. CSC ZebraBucks are hand wound on all wood bobbins and  wax potted for noiseless operation.
